Only the good kind of surprises.

Here's how it works:

Only the good kind of surprises

A Cassette tech will gather or facilitate procurement of site survey and a soils report that will determine the basis for your home’s structural connection to the site, and will assess all potential cost complexities related to installation. This phase concludes with a preliminary site plan, total project budget, and a downpayment on the selected Cassette home.

Step 1

Ready

A Cassette tech will gather or facilitate procurement of site survey and a soils report that will determine the basis for your home’s structural connection to the site, and will assess all potential cost complexities related to installation. This phase concludes with a preliminary site plan, total project budget, and a downpayment on the selected Cassette home.

Set

Cassette prepares the engineering files, submits a permit package to the local jurisdiction, and places  the home order into our manufacturing queue. The local permitting can take between 1-3 months, depending on jurisdiction and complexity.

Step 3

Homes.

Step 1

Assess Your Site

Once you share your site address, a Cassette specialist will reach out to schedule a call or video call meeting,  to better understand your specific project needs, and to discuss products, pricing and process as they relate to your project.  If you determine that you’d like to move ahead with studying feasibility, a representative may schedule a meeting with you on-site to review site access and other constraints that may not be visible online.

Step 2  (Avg. 4 Weeks)

Predevelopment

By signing a Predevelopment Agreement, you lock in your pricing on the home, and you give Cassette a green light to begin work assessing the final site design including installation siting, budget and schedule.

Step 3

Home is Ordered, Site Permitting Begins

You will pay a deposit on the home, and while it is queued up for production, Cassette will prepare the drawings and help you submit the local permitting package for the foundations and other site-built elements of the project.

Step 4  (3-5 Months from Home Order)

Home Delivery & Installation

Installation day! Your home will arrive on-site, and will either be rolled or craned into place. Over the course of 2 - 6 weeks, our team will secure the home to a permanent foundation, make all utility connections, and build the accessory structures and site-built elements of the project so that you can move in.

Step 5
